Founder & Chair
Hardware and software engineer with extensive experience in IoT systems, embedded platforms, and connected device architectures. Based in the West Midlands, UK.
Marcel Ionescu
Co-founder
Founder and CEO of AgriCloud, President of the Romanian Precision Agriculture Association (APAP). Over a decade of experience in IoT agriculture platforms, drone-based crop monitoring, and international agri-tech deployment.

How We Are Governed
UKPAI is being established with a small founding team. Formal governance arrangements will be put in place as the institute builds its foundations.
Board Appointments
The founding team is being assembled with staggered terms to ensure continuity. As the institute grows, additional board members will be appointed by the existing board.
Advisory Board
We are assembling an advisory board of experts in agricultural science, agri-tech investment, farming practice, and public policy to guide the institute's direction.
